The short version

The only data I collect directly is what you type into the Work with me form. Separately, Vercel Analytics counts page views on this site. It doesn’t use cookies and can’t identify you.

What I collect, and why

If you use the Work with me form, I collect the name, email, and message you enter. I use it to reply to you and for nothing else.

If you use a newsletter subscribe box (in the footer or on the Writing page), your email goes directly to Substack.

This site uses Vercel Analytics to count page views and see which writing and tools people actually read. It doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t track you across other sites, and doesn’t store anything that identifies you individually.

Who else handles it

  • Formspree handles the Work with me form on my behalf and stores submissions on my account there.
  • Substack handles newsletter subscriptions directly. See their privacy policy for how they handle your email.
  • Vercel hosts this site and provides the analytics above. See their privacy policy for details.

How long I keep it

I keep Work with me submissions until you ask me to delete them. There’s no automatic expiry.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, at any time. Use the Work with me form and mention it’s a privacy request. If you’re in the EU or UK, these are your rights under GDPR.
